Doggy Days Out

Danville-Boyle County Humane Society can use volunteers to walk shelter dogs daily. A few hours away from the shelter can change a pup's world. These outings help improve a dog's outlook, showcase their personality, and often increases their chances of being adoption or foster by giving them real-world experience and visibility. 

You don't have to be looking to adopt or foster or even a long-time volunteer to help out--anyone is welcome to take a shelter dog on an adventure to show them a little love and bigger world beyond their kennel.
